XT polymer compound has a long history in the food packaging industry. Its environmental stress craze resistant characteristics have lead it into a wide variety of specialty food applications typically found in the refrigerated section of the supermarket. The product meets the FDA requirements for food contact for all use conditions up to and including hot filled or pasteurized above 150°F (e.g. condition 21 CFR 176.170) for all food types except those containing more than 8 percent alcohol.
